By 2040, our world population will be more than 9 billion people. This means approximately 2 billion people will require energy in addition to what is being currently being utilised today. This is equivalent to the amount of energy consumed by North and South America today. But to get there, we need different tools and frameworks to provide reliable and affordable power without contributing to climate change. All over the world we can see that the governments are engaging and releasing new legislations to accelerate and assure the transition, and at the same time we see that renewables enter the zone where they become cost competitive and even cheaper than the established energy sources.
